origen de la actual ciudad de Quer\u00e9taro se da en el segundo cuarto del siglo XVl con la toma de la ciudad prehisp\u00e1nica por con\u00edn y posteriormente con la llegada de los frailes franciscanos que erigir\u00e1n en un solar que les concede Con\u00edn el templo y la doctrina, que despu\u00e9s ser\u00e1n, La Parroquia de Santiago y el Convento Grande de San Francisco, m\u00e1s su pante\u00f3n, su huerta, sus cuatro capillas anexas, el edificio de la enfermer\u00eda, el molino y la primera escuela de letras.<\/p>\n<p>Con el tiempo se detruir\u00e1 todo esto y se tranformar\u00e1 conforme va pasando la historia de Quer\u00e9taro.<\/p>\n<p>El Convento es ahora el Museo regional, la huerta es la Plaza de la Constituci\u00f3n, la enfermer\u00eda, un edificio de comercio y el portal de Independencia, las capillas ser\u00e1n,el Gran Hotel y su portal Bueno, su cementerio y atrio,el Jard\u00edn Zenea, la escuela de las primeras letras, la facultad de Bellas artes y solo se conservar\u00e1 el templo de San Francisco con las modificaciones que ha ido sufriendo desde su inicio en el siglo XVl hasta el siglo XXl.<\/p>\n<p>Desde luego que dej\u00f3 de ser parroquia cuando le fue requerida y pas\u00f3 al clero secular instal\u00e1ndose en el templo de La Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Jes\u00fas, que estaba desocupado y all\u00ed permanece hasta la fecha.<\/p>\n<p>Las calles que enmarcaban y enmarcan esta ciudadela con los nombres actuales son la Avenida Ju\u00e1rez, de 16 de septiembre a Independencia, la Avenida Madero, continuando con el Andador 5 de mayo, la calle de vergara hasta Independencia,\u00a0 la calle de Independencia y la primera de Pino Su\u00e1rez\u00a0 y la calle de 16 de septiembre entre Ju\u00e1rez y
