text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">La intervenci\u00f3n norteamericana en M\u00e9xico fue con el af\u00e1n de extender su espacio nacional a la costa de las tierras norte\u00f1as mexicanas y dominar el litoral del oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">El Colegio Militar \u2013sus estudiantes-<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Batalla del 13 de septiembre de 1847 \u2013los ni\u00f1os h\u00e9roes-<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Los h\u00e9roes de Chapultepec. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Los intereses expansionistas norteamericanos terminan con la participaci\u00f3n de los denominados \u00abNi\u00f1os H\u00e9roes\u00bb aquel 13 de septiembre. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">La batalla de Chapultepec, en la cual cadetes, jefes y oficiales defendieron el recinto con su propia vida, como es el caso de Felipe Santiago Xicont\u00e9ncatl, jefe de dicho batall\u00f3n de San Blas, cuyo cuerpo fue amortajado con la bandera de este batall\u00f3n, cuya bandera es custodiada por el ej\u00e9rcito mexicanoi las 24 horas del d\u00eda en el Castillo de Chapultepec<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Existe una caja de cantera hallada y recientemente enterrada en el jard\u00edn del Alc\u00e1zar, fechada en 1849 y en cuyo interior se encuentran un listado con algunos de los cadetes que participaron en esta lucha, monedas de la \u00e9poca y documentos del ej\u00e9rcito. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Los seis ni\u00f1os h\u00e9roes son: Juan de <st1:personname ProductID=\"la Barrera\" w:st=\"on\">la Barrera<\/st1:personname>, Vicente Su\u00e1rez, Agust\u00edn Melgar, Juan Escutia, Fernando Montes de Oca y Francisco M\u00e1rquez. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Estados Unidos teniendo de apoyo la doctrina del \u201cDestino Manifiesto\u201d, buscaron consolidar su poder\u00edo continental a trav\u00e9s de la expansi\u00f3n territorial y declararon la guerra a M\u00e9xico en 1846, argumentado la incursi\u00f3n ilegal del ej\u00e9rcito mexicano en su territorio. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">La entrada del ej\u00e9rcito estadounidense a la ciudad de M\u00e9xico, estuvo dirigido por Winfield Scott en las batallas de Padierna, Churubusco y Molino del Rey, contra el ej\u00e9rcito mexicano, a cargo de Pedro Mar\u00eda Anaya; <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">El establecimiento del Colegio Militar, fue desde 1822, en el momento de la batalla por la <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">defensa del Castillo de Chapultepec dirigi\u00f3 el general Jos\u00e9 Mariano Monterde. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;
