(Como autor de versos sat\u00edricos nadie se le compara.) Esp\u00edritu af\u00edn al de Tablada en algunos aspectos, Novo \u00abnacionaliza\u00bb el humor de vanguardia: sus poemas manifiestan la burla del sentimiento modernista y la apertura hacia el paisaje de la primera posguerra: urbano, industrial, publicitario. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">En las letras inglesas descubre su aut\u00e9ntica voz. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">Las breves, casi epigram\u00e1ticas, composiciones de Espejo rescatan, fijan con distancia cr\u00edtica, im\u00e1genes de la infancia perdida. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\">En Nuevo amor el encuentro, la separaci\u00f3n, la memoria de sal o de ceniza se<br \/>\nexpresan directa y libremente, con una tonalidad de \u00edntima pesadumbre que no mengu\u00f3 nunca su novedad ni su frescura.
