Rafael Cadenas<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"bodytext\">Rafael Cadenas (Barquisimeto, 1930) vive actualmente en Caracas, ciudad a la que volvi\u00f3 en 1958, luego de haber sido desterrado a la isla de Trinidad, en 1952, por su militancia comunista. Pertenece a la generaci\u00f3n venezolana de 1960. Form\u00f3 parte del grupo Tabla Redonda, junto con Arnaldo Acosta Bello, Jes\u00fas Gu\u00e9dez, \u00c1ngel Eduardo Acevedo, Darlo Lancini, Jos\u00e9 Barroeta y Sanoja Hern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"bodytext\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\" class=\"bodytext\">Entre sus obras se encuentran <em>Cantos iniciales<\/em> (1946), <em>Una isla<\/em> (1958), <em>Los Cuadernos del destierro <\/em>(1960), <em>Derrota<\/em> (1963), <em>Falsas maniobras<\/em> (1960), <em>Anotaciones<\/em> (1973), <em>Intemperie<\/em> (1977), <em>Memorial<\/em> (1977), <em>Amante<\/em> (1983), <em>Dichos<\/em> (1992), <em>Gestiones<\/em> (1992). El Fondo de Cultura Econ\u00f3mica public\u00f3 en el 2000 su <em>Obra entera<\/em>. Es traductor de poes\u00eda inglesa, fue profesor universitario y cuenta con una amplia obra de ensayo considerada una referencia indispensable del pensamiento literario contempor\u00e1neo en espa\u00f1ol; destacan en ella sus libros <em>En torno al lenguaje<\/em> y los <em>Apuntes sobre San Juan de la Cruz y la m\u00edstica. Ha recibido el Premio Nacional de Literatura en Venezuela, el Premio Internacional de Poes\u00eda P\u00e9rez Bonalde, la Beca Guggenheim y doctorados Honoris Causa<\/em> de las Universidades Central de Venezuela y Los Andes.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; \u00a0 2009.
