Berumen dijo su primer serm\u00f3n: \u201cEsta es una marcha de caballeros, Caballeros de <st1:personname ProductID=\"La Virgen. Vivimos\" w:st=\"on\"><st1:personname ProductID=\"La Virgen.\" w:st=\"on\">La Virgen.<\/st1:personname> Vivimos<\/st1:personname> la gloria de ir a saludarla. Porque son como apariciones de <st1:personname ProductID=\"La Guadalupana\" w:st=\"on\">La Guadalupana<\/st1:personname> a sus romeros.<o:p><\/o:p><\/em><\/span><em><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial\" lang=\"ES-TRAD\"><o:p>\u00a0<\/o:p><\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; font-family: Arial\" lang=\"ES-TRAD\">En las polvorosa explanada del Colorado bajo el sol de junio. Depuse el asfalto que calienta y quema las plantas de los pies. Entonces aparecen las \u201csamaritanas\u201d. Por la rancher\u00eda de Palo Alto las mujeres extend\u00edan sus brazos morenos ofreciendo agua y gorditas en un don de sencilla caridad.
