Este cerrillo artificial se llama Cerro Pel\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Las muchas fustes de columnas de basalto que hasta hace pocos a\u00f1os se hallaban esparcidos por la falda del montecillo; altos relieves de figuras humanas y de plantas labradas en cantera, cari\u00e1tides de ochenta cent\u00edmetros labradas en dur\u00edsimas rocas, bien acabados adornadas de prendas simb\u00f3licas, objetos de cer\u00e1mica, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Esto dec\u00edan en el siglo XVll de esta zona arqueol\u00f3gica que conocemos ahora como El Cerrito y que es una pir\u00f1amide con cuatro estapas reconstructivas con influencias teotihuacanas, pero principalmente toltecas y donde comenz\u00f3 a partir del siglo XVlll el culto a La Virgen del Pueblito y cerca de esta zona arqueol\u00f3gica se construy\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n en esa \u00e9poca un Convento y un Santuario para contrarestar el culto que se rend\u00eda all\u00ed desde hace mas de dos mil a\u00f1os a la Madre de los dioses.<\/p>\n<p>Las fiestas ind\u00edgenas son muy hermosas y se celbran en el mes de febreo y la cat\u00f3lica es el segundo domingo de pascua.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eloficiodehistoriar.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/jfz-261.jpg\" title=\"jfz-261.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/eloficiodehistoriar.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/jfz-261.jpg\" title=\"jfz-261.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A poco m\u00e1s de ocho kil\u00f3metros del centro de la ciudad de Quer\u00e9taro, en un hermoso valle y entre numerosas huertas se yergue una pir\u00e1mide monumental construida a mano por los abor\u00edgenes a donde acuden a ofrecer sacrificios.
