June 8, 2019 – Vatican: Pope Francis meets 400 children from different Italian regions who came by train to the Vatican, in the courtyard of San Damaso, in the Vatican. The Italian children have been affected by tragedies including the 2018 bridge collapse in the northern city of Genoa and the 2013 flooding in Sardinia. Children affected by crime in the city of Naples were also among those who met the pontiff. \u00abThe train of children\u00bb initiative was organized by the Pontifical Council for Culture at the hall of the Paul VI Hall in the Vatican. El Papa ha anunciado que se vacunar\u00e1 \u00abla semana que viene\u00bb contra la Covid-19 dentro del plan de vacunaci\u00f3n en el Vaticano, al tiempo que ha arremetido contra el \u00abnegacionismo suicida\u00bb de los que niegan su eficacia.<\/p>\n
\u00abLa semana que viene empezaremos a hacerlo (vacunarse), ya tengo mi cita\u00bb, ha revelado el Papa en una entrevista con la cadena italiana Canale 5 que se emitir\u00e1 de forma completa este domingo.<\/p>\n
\u00abHay que hacerlo\u00bb, ha insistido Francisco tras lamentar que existe \u00abun negacionismo suicida que no consigo explicar\u00bb. Y ha agregado: \u00abCreo que desde el punto de vista \u00e9tico todo el mundo debe vacunarse, porque no solamente pones en peligro tu salud, tu vida, sino tambi\u00e9n las de los otros\u00bb.<\/p>\n
El Papa ha recordado adem\u00e1s que cuando era peque\u00f1o hubo una \u00abepidemia de la poliomelitis\u00bb. \u00abA causa de la cual muchos ni\u00f1os quedaron paralizados y todo el mundo esperaba ansiosamente una vacuna (…) Cuando lleg\u00f3 la vacuna la daban con az\u00facar\u00bb, ha manifestado. Y ha agregado: \u00abLuego crecimos a la sombra de las vacunas, contra el sarampi\u00f3n, contra esto, contra aquello… vacunas que se daban a los ni\u00f1os\u00bb.<\/p>\n
